The War of the Roses @ #Viniacasamia
#Viniacasamia, wines and winemakers uncovered, is a concept by Marco Ghezzi.
A private home, friends that meet up to taste wines, listen to stories, discover territories and passions. An informal atmosphere, chats, live twitting and one common theme: wine.
We will talk about rosés, from Sicily to Alto Adige: La Bambina, a soft and joyful Nero d'Avola will meet the Kretzer, a seductive and full bodied Merlot. Armin and I will introduce you to our wines, and I am sure it will be an exciting experience for all of us. I am personally convinced that winemakers who share the same passion for wine are not real competitors, but friends and colleagues with the same goal: to share their love with everybody who wants to listen.
The idea: I met Armin Kobler some time ago: I had heard great comments about his wines, then I finally met him last year at Terroirvino and I couldn’t help myself but falling in love with his Chardonnay, with his open smile and his gentle and lovely manners. He is a true and sincere vigneron, who always tells you what he thinks, never aggressive nor arrogant. We discussed a lot on social networks and at wine exhibitions. Then Marco called both of us to organize this tasting, which I believe will be the logical consequence of our rich exchange of opinioins.
